I have lived in Southern California/Yorba Linda for 2+ years renting in Fairmont Hills. I was interested in buying and called a realtor that was popular in Fairmont Hills. She referred me to Stacey Hofmans. I recently closed on a condo in the Windwood area of Anaheim which is a mile from Fairmont Hills and couldn't be happier! Stacey has been working with me for 10 months. We have probably looked at 6-10 different places and made offers on at least 3-4 properties. She was diligent and never lost site of the task at hand. As a matter of fact with the condo I purchased, she called me out of the blue as she knew what I was looking for. We were able to offer a price that was accepted and closed shortly after. Stacey was so responsive and attentive to every one of my needs during the entire 10 months I worked with her and always answered her phone or called back quickly. I have to admit I was probably a bit "high maintenance" but she never waivered. I respected her opinion and even have used her contractors for additional work. I would highly recommend Stacey to anyone who is looking to either sell or purchase a house. There are many agents out there, but Stacey is one of kind. I had the fortunate experience of both. What makes Stacey unique is she has a keen eye to help stage our house to attract the most foot traffic and bring in prospective buyers. She also had lots of resources with respect to handyman, plumbers, roofers, landscapers which made it easy to fix up our house and be competitive with other houses on the market. In fact, after the house was fixed up, my wife fell in love with the house and didn't want to move. Anyway, the house was sold at a competitive price after being on the market for a few months. Prior to close of escrow, she also helped us looked for our new dream house. Now mind you, my wife was 8 months pregnant and ready to deliver so the pressure was on to find a new house and close escrow on the new house. For anyone who's had to sell and buy a new house, you know how stressful that can be let alone welcoming a newborn. But Stacey was there throughout the whole process and really took charge to help find a new place, negotiate with the listing agent, help us find a lender, and help us settle in. As part of the transition, she also helped negotiate with the buyers of our previous house a rent back so that we don't become "temporarily" homeless. Throughout the process Stacey was always available, quickly returned phone calls whenever we contacted her, and was very accommodating with our schedules . She was definitely on top of things which took a lot of stress away from us so that we could focus on work and family life. Stacey's professionalism is impeccable, her knowledge of the house market is second to none, and her ability to relate to her clients on a personal level was awesome. Although Zillow gives a maximum of 5 stars, she really deserves 10 stars. Stacey is passionate about her profession and works hard to meet the expectations of her clients. As first time home buyers we felt very overwhelmed and did not know everything that was required to purchase a home. Stacey took care of everything for us so we could enjoy the process instead of worry! She took very good care of us and we trusted her to have our best interest, and still do! She was always very prompt, patient, and most importantly she listened to our wants and needs and showed us houses that met that instead of just whatever was available. We asked Stacey to sell our home and find a new home back early 2015. I'll be honest about my perceptions about realtors in general. It's a competitive business and since there are so many out there, it's definitely a hit-and-miss sorta thing. Stacey has made an already very stressful experience as pain-free as possible for us. She guided us every single step of the way to ensure we sell our house quickly. There were a few instances where things had to be done during work hours on a weekday (for example the home inspector), Stacey would make sure she was there. This was a huge relief especially when you can't leave work. She managed to sell our home within a week of listing and after only one open-house. Which is amazing for a small town home in Stanton (not exactly a high-demand area :)). Stacey always made us feel that she had our best interests in mind. Never once was she rushing us or trying to convince us of anything for the sake of moving the process along. She's extremely patient to say the least, which is good because the majority of us home buyers seem to have caviar taste on a McDonald's budget. She has a knack for listening to our vague wants and finding homes she thinks would suit our needs. I had some mixed emotions when we got the keys to our new home. On one hand, we moved out of the ghetto and into the hills (like the Jeffersons!), on the other hand I knew our journey with Stacey has now ended. Her job was done and we were left to settle into our new house. Ironically her office is only 15 minutes away but still...she was our rock during the emotional adventure people called moving. Even though it wasn't that long ago, I have nothing but good memories of our time with Stacey.
I cannot say enough about how impressed we were with Stacey. She is the most professional and most down to earth real estate agent we have dealt with. Not only that, her assistance with selling our home was a HUGE asset. There was never a task that Stacey wouldn't help with. She provided a service that was over and beyond what we EVER expected and ALWAYS accommodated our schedule/timing to sell/purchase our home. Stacey did a great job listening to my needs when shopping for my home. We looked at a lot of places and she observed my likes and dislikes to help narrow the field of likely homes. She stayed within my budget, even after I raised it. We searched for homes as far as 15mi away from the neighborhood I started out in. In the end, it was her personal touch that helped persuade the sellers to accept my offer without getting into a bidding war. We ran into a few challenges during escrow and she managed the transitions working with other agents and agencies, as well as a rent-back agreement to get us closed on-time.
